Following both the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics as set forth by the National Athletic Trainers Association and Florida Licensing Law.Being present at home athletic contests and practices and shall attend other post-season and home-hosted contests.Providing 1st aid and injury assessment/treatment/rehabilitation/reconditioning for student-athletes. The athletic trainer will also be responsible for making appropriate physician referral. Filing all necessary reports associated with athletic injuries and/or incidents.Supervising the clearance of injured athletes prior to and during the sport seasons. Maintaining a daily treatment log. Overseeing the ordering of supplies and equipment pertaining to the athletic training room and maintaining an up-to-date inventory. Provide the Athletic Director with an annual budget for supplies and equipment. Working in accordance with a weekly schedule to be determined by the Athletic Director.
