Student Assistant for the Campbell-Wright HBCU Program

The purpose of the position is to support the connection between HBCUs working in the Gullah-Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor. The student will be responsible for helping to coordinate events, communications, and other logistics for public facing programs with the CWI Program. Duties and Responsibilities 60% - Webpage/Social Media/Technical: Update the Campbell Wright Internship Webpage, newsletter, and social media sites on a DAILY and WEEKLY basis for items such as new events, features - news about successful past interns, etc. Post articles or links as needed, make corrections or additions as needed. Be familiar with Morehouse College's intranet, Social Media, Form Stack, Outlook and Canva. Create and distribute electronic surveys and ballots as needed. 30% - Office support. Coordinate mail, any deliveries and answer inquiries about various events and programs. Work with the director to purchase any needed supplies for displays and student events. 10% - Perform other duties as needed and assigned by supervisor and/or intern coordinator Position Description Work-Study Office Location On Campus Position Accessibility In the office, Remote Position Availability Fall, Spring, Summer Select the days that are available for students to work and put the hours that are available for students to work (examples 9am-5pm, 9am-12pm & 4pm-6pm) Saturday - 9-5, Monday - 9-5, Tuesday - 9-5, Wednesday - 9-5, Thursday - 9-5, Friday - 9-5 General Qualifications Currently enrolled college student in good academic standing. Specific Qualifications Must be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite-including managing Bookings, and other Calendar Input.
