Is Looking For A 1st Shift Cabinet Builder Work Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday: 6:00am - 3:00pm & Friday: 6:00am - 12pm (Depending on workload)Valley Cabinet is a family-owned and operated company providing the finest quality custom wood cabinetry! We value culture, people, and safety above all else which has allowed us to be an industry leader for over 60 years!What You Will Do:Review cabinet drawings and assemble cabinets according to specifications.Plan out the sequence of cutting or shaping to be performed.Gather and assemble necessary cabinet parts by following paperwork specifications.Set up and operate machines, including power saws, shapers to cut and machine parts, as needed.Verify dimensions and check quality of parts and fit pieces to ensure adherence to specifications of cabinet during assembly process.Utilize basic hand tools.Work efficiently while paying attention to detail.Keep the work area clean and organized.Follow all safety rules and contribute to a safe work environment.Participate and contribute to a "Team" environment.Other duties as assigned.What You Need:Previous wood working experience required.Ability to learn and retain on the job training.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to read measurement tools such as a tape measure.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions in English.Ability to meet quality standards - strong attention to detail and quality.Ability to consistently meet/exceed production quotas.As a Valley Cabinet Team Member, You'll Enjoy:Full Benefits PackageHealth, Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Long Term Disability and Short Term DisabilityCareer Growth & Opportunities for AdvancementContinual Pay Rate Increases 1st Year of EmploymentBonuses, Paid Time Off, and 8 Paid Holidays401(k) + Company ContributionOnsite NurseCollaborative work environment.
