Become part of our great team as a Finishing Worker.A Finishing Worker sets up and operates automatic and manual buffing and grinding equipment to remove excess flash from molded rubber parts and rubber to metal bonded seals.Primary ResponsibilitiesCompletes daily time cardFollows and signs work ordersIf required, completes work order changesFollows all safety rulesAdheres to the site Quality PolicySuccessfully complete a 90 day probationary periodAdditional duties as assignedThe Finishing Worker may perform any of the following operationsDeflashes parts by sanding them with an inverted drill pressDeflashes parts by grinding them using a Tongil cylindrical grinderDeflashes parts by grinding them using an automatic latheDeflashes parts by sanding them using a drum sanderDeflashes parts by sanding them using a 6" sanding latheDeflashes parts by sanding them using a manual sanding latheDrills holes in parts using a drill pressPunches holes in parts by handMeasures parts Trims parts by handQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceManufacturing experience preferred but may consider other backgrounds for entry level positionPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand on a concrete floor for up to 10 hours per day (chairs available upon request)Must be able to lift up to 30 lbsOther RequirementsThis position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
