Seeking Mission-Driven Case Manager III
Collaborating with an extensive number of funders, volunteers, and supporters, Catholic Community Services of Lane County (CCSLC) is a 70-year-old 501(c)(3) social services agency dispensing the largest volume of no-cost basic assistance- food, utilities, clothing- to individuals and families living in poverty throughout Lane County. We foster a “whatever it takes” approach with the case management and housing navigation services we provide to our unhoused neighbors. As well, our Refugee & Immigrant Services Program is rapidly growing and is the only Lane County team offering a coordinated effort of legal assistance, wrap around supportive services and employment connections to refugees and immigrants who arrive in our community. POSITION TITLE: Case Manager III
SUMMARY:
The Case Manager III works collaboratively with clients and other Agency team members to secure permanent housing and achieve goals that will stabilize lives and crisis situations. This key Agency staff is creative in finding needed resources and goes above and beyond to assist in solving crisis situations, one family at a time. This is not a remote, work-from-home position.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Supportive Services Program
WORK LOCATION: Springfield, OR-1025 G St., and in the community
FLSA STATUS/ HOURS: Non-Exempt, Full-Time,40 hours/week, Mon-Fri
COMPENSATION: $19/hr.
MUST HAVES:
Associate’s degree in Human Services or 3 years of equivalent experience required
Min. two years experience as a case manager or similar role
Must have passion and compassion for assisting others who are struggling to stabilize their lives
Experience with accessing community services, housing resources and mainstream benefits
Knowledge of principles of casework and case management
Ability to assess and to develop individualized Service Plans
Ability to develop and sustain community partnerships
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with using spreadsheet and database software applications
Excellent organizational and time management skills and strong interpersonal skills
Valid ODL, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends, when required
