Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity Looking for a Cardiothoracic surgeon to help with hospital coverage at a 268 bed regional referral center in Kearney, Nebraska. Hospital is a level 2 trauma center. RATE caps for Submission (STRICTLY FOLLOW) Malpractice – Must be included in rates. Orientation – $250-275 - half the hourly/callback rate, kicks in after 8 hours. "Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours" On Call (Daily) – $4,650-$5,000 - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis" 24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $ - "Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis" Call Back – $500-$550 – "Per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms." Holiday Call Back – $750-825 – "Per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms." Average Callback Hour: 4 hours Schedule/Availability Requirements: 24 hour CT surgery coverage Dates for coverage: (provider does not need to be able to cover all dates below to be considered) July 14 - July 25; 7a - 7a Aug 11 - Aug 17; 7a - 7a Aug 30 - Sept 01; 7a - 7a Sept 08 and ongoing Facility Location: CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Nebraska FTE: PRN Required Procedures: CABG and valve cases as well as Thoracic coverage for a level 2 trauma center EMR: Epic Dealbreakers: Must do cardiac and Thoracic cases Reason for Coverage: Current CT surgeon on vacation Travel Preferences: Preferred Lodging: Preferred hotels Air Travel: Local, preferred but not required Credentialing Information: Timeframe: 60 - 90 days Requirements: Credentialing with other facilities? No Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery - (REQUIRED) State License – (HIGHLY PREFERRED) Will accept active IMLC Other Certifications – ACLS, BLS, DEA (REQUIRED) Clean Malpractice – (HIGHLY PREFERRED) Availability at time of name clear – (REQUIRED) A Self-Query NPDB report is mandatory at the time of presentation. The Self-Query NPDB report must be dated within 30 days of the presentation date.
