Advanced Nurse Practitioner
APRN (Full-Time) – Pain Management
Pain Treatment MD is a rapidly growing, well-established pain management clinic seeking to add our third APRN to our clinical team.
We are a very fast-paced clinic with a hardworking, proactive, family-oriented team. We are looking for an APRN with extreme attention to detail, a genuine desire to help and serve others, and a strong interest in pain management, including medication management and patient education.
We already have two outstanding APRNs, and we are excited to welcome a third provider who wants to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients
Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Perform detailed physical examinations and accurately order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications responsibly with a strong understanding of pharmacology and pain management principles
Manage chronic pain medications safely and appropriately, including ongoing medication monitoring and PDMP use
Interpret and manage urine drug analysis as part of comprehensive pain management care
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, treatment plans, medications, and preventive health measures
Clearly explain symptoms, procedures, expectations, and risks in a patient-friendly manner
Monitor and document patient progress thoroughly, adjusting care plans as needed
Collaborate closely with physicians, APRNs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain strict compliance with clinic policies, state regulations, and national standards of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Provide leadership and mentorship to other healthcare staff as needed

Pain management experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person with the right mindset and proactiveness to learn and grow within the role.
Qualifications
Current and valid Arkansas APRN license
Completion of an accredited APRN program
No minimum experience required. New graduates welcome
Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional growth
BLS and ACLS certifications required
