Senior Project Architect
About The RoleWe’re seeking a Project Architect to lead the technical delivery of complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role works closely with the Technical Leader, Project Manager, and Project Designer to ensure design intent, coordination, and technical excellence are fully realized.As a licensed professional, you will serve as Architect of Record, leading QA/QC efforts, signing and sealing drawings, and mentoring team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing studio culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical execution and coordination of architectural projects across all phasesServe as Architect of Record, signing and sealing documents in compliance with regulatory standardsTranslate design intent into accurate, coordinated construction documentsDirect and mentor staff producing drawings and technical documentationCoordinate with structural, MEP, and specialty consultantsEstablish and manage BIM standards, workflows, and documentation strategiesOversee QA/QC reviews and ensure technical accuracy and consistencyLead Construction Phase Services: RFIs, submittals, site visits, and field reviewsApply building codes, standards, and regulatory requirementsCommunicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities having jurisdictionSupport business development efforts, proposals, and client presentations as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in ArchitectureLicensed Architect with active registration10+ years of experience on technically complex projects through constructionStrong knowledge of building systems, materials, construction methods, and codesAdvanced proficiency in Revit and BIM coordinationExperience developing BIM standards and project workflowsProficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and Microsoft OfficeExperience with manufacturing, commercial, light industrial, laboratory, clean-room, or R&D facilities preferredFamiliarity with Deltek Vantagepoint a plusProven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and coordinate consultantsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWork Environment & CultureHybrid 4/9 schedule with half-day FridaysTypical remote days: Tuesdays and FridaysIn-office collaboration focused on design reviews and coordinationCulture centered on technical excellence, mentorship, collaboration, and professional growthPeriodic site visits and client/consultant meetings requiredJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, TX.Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.RequirementsEligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
