Selling Supervisor
Summary
The Selling Supervisor is a store leadership role focused on executing strategic plans to drive profitable sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will coach and develop the sales team, monitor performance metrics, and lead by example on the sales floor. This position serves as an entry point to future management opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
Coach, develop and mentor sales associates to drive team performance and achieve sales targets
Monitor KPIs and sales metrics, communicate performance and execute corrective strategies
Spend approximately 50% of time selling and implement clienteling strategies to build customer loyalty
Execute promotional activities, events and merchandising support to maximize results
Support customer concern resolution and elevate issues to senior management as needed
Supervise daily cash transactions, deposits and register balancing; support inventory control
Champion new selling technologies and communicate tools and priorities to the team
Requirements
Retail supervisory or similar industry experience with a proven track record of success
Strong leadership, communication, planning and time-management skills
Product knowledge and fashion awareness a plus; ability to mentor and train others
Ability to stand, move and work on the sales floor for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to operate a register and perform cashier responsibilities accurately
Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel as required
