Travel RN - Telemetry - Intermediate Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC/PCU Step-Down position at an acute care hospital in Sylva, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU or step-down experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.Job Details• 86-bed acute care facility with service lines including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women's care, and emergency medicine,• PCU/Intermediate Care (Step-Down) unit, currently combined with the ICU,• Adult and geriatric patient population,• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 12-bed unit,• GE monitors (B450, B650) used for patient monitoring,• EMR: Paragon,• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM,• Every other weekend required,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,• AHA certifications required (e.g., BLS),• Minimum 2 years of PCU, intermediate care, or step-down RN experience required,• SSN and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment,• Any scrub color is acceptable,
