Job OverviewServe as the primary commercial and technical liaison for key Narrow Web customers. Drive profitable growth through strategic account management, solution-based selling, and expertise in water-based and UV-curable inks and coatings. Act as a trusted advisor to align customer objectives with product portfolio. Lead complex sales engagements and ensure product adoption via coordination with technical, R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Balance revenue ownership with technical leadership for sustainable customer value and long-term partnerships. Reside in central NY, NJ, or Philly; territory spans Virginia to Maine, inland to NY and PA. Flexible work-from-home days. Full-time role with full benefits; possible relocation for ideal candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage strategic Narrow Web customer accounts with full responsibility for revenue growth, margin performance, and profitability. Develop and execute account strategies and growth plans aligned with customer objectives and commercial priorities. Identify and convert new business opportunities, including product conversions, line extensions, and expansions into new applications or technologies. Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements with regional management. Leverage deep knowledge of water-based and UV-curable inks and coatings to position as a solutions partner. Lead and coordinate press trials, product introductions, and technical validations. Serve as senior escalation point for complex technical challenges impacting customer satisfaction or business continuity. Translate technical performance, process improvements, and sustainability benefits into customer value propositions. Build and maintain executive-level relationships across customer operations, quality, purchasing, and leadership teams. Act as primary point of accountability for customer performance, satisfaction, and issue resolution. Partner with Technical Service for aligned messaging, efficient resource deployment, and proactive support.Required Skills and Knowledge5-7+ years experience; mid-senior level. High school diploma or equivalent minimum education. Experience with color management systems (e.g., X-Rite). Understanding of lamination, coating, and post-print converting processes. Familiarity with VOC compliance, safety protocols, and system regulations. Experience working with packaging materials and inks in a manufacturing setting. Proven success resolving technical issues related to packaging or inks. Experience receiving direct customer feedback on packaging or ink performance. Worked with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions. Familiar with current trends and advancements in packaging and inks industry. Ability to work independently after training and set priorities. Strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset. Ready to travel occasionally as required.
