Overview Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Obstetrician and Gynecologist physician to join our established practice in Urbana, Illinois. Candidates interested in both full-time and part-time work are welcome to apply. Opportunity Details Established multi-specialty practice that includes BC/BE OB/GYNs, OB Hospitalists, Midwives, and Advanced Practice Providers 24‑hour in‑house call coverage with 3 physicians (2 general OB/GYNs and 1 OB hospitalist) and 1 CNM. Monthly call for a 1.0 FTE position is 4, 24‑hour shifts Admit to only one hospital – Carle Foundation Hospital 24‑hour dedicated Labor & Delivery anesthesia coverage State‑of‑the‑art, family‑oriented L&D unit with 5 private triage rooms and 7 spacious fully‑appointed LDRs 5 Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. 24/7 MFM coverage on dedicated antepartum unit adjacent to Labor and Delivery Additional Obstetric support services include: 6 Neonatologists on staff. 24x7 in‑house Neonatology coverage. 48 NICU beds On‑site Women's Health sub‑specialties: Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Reproductive Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecology (including da Vinci © systems) Academic and research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine ACGME‑Accredited OB/GYN Residency Program based at Carle Foundation Hospital (participation required; level of involvement tailored to attending’s interest) Magnet® designation Excellent benefits package: health/dental/life insurance, 403‑B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage Consideration will be given to candidates desiring balanced OB/GYN, OB dominant, and OB only. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $525,000 - $600,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
