Job Title: Controller Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and meticulous Controller to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will support the financial and accounting needs for multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reports, compliance with regulations, and efficient accounting operations. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and review the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).Perform accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.Assist with tax preparation and compliance (federal, state, and local requirements). Work closely with CPA Firm for year end tax preparation.Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and any applicable laws.Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.5+ years of progressive accounting experience preferred.Experience in multi-entity accounting strongly preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Experience with financial statement preparation, bookkeeping, and general accounting practices.Proficient with accounting software, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft 365 with strong Excel skills.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
