About the jobTitle: Analytical QC ScientistLocation: Needham, MA (Onsite)Employment Type: Contract (6+ Months with Potential Extension)Status: Accepting CandidatesAbout the roleWe are seeking a Analytical QC Scientist to support Quality Control operations for protein-based products. This role will work closely with the R&D team to transfer analytical methods into QC, perform analytical testing, and ensure products meet quality standards through method qualification, validation, and routine testing.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport analytical method transfer from R&D into the Quality Control laboratory.Lead analytical method qualification and validation activities.Perform analytical characterization and routine QC testing of protein products.Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and follow established SOPs and GMP practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.2+ years of experience in an analytical Quality Control laboratory.Hands-on experience with HPLC and analytical characterization techniques.Experience supporting analytical method transfer, qualification, or validation is preferred.Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):Estimated hourly range: $30–$37/hr (W-2).Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
