Director, Fund AccountingDenver, Colorado- Hybrid$150,000-$190,000 base + bonus +equityWe are seeking a Fund Accounting Director to join the largest private capital fund administrators in the market. This is a senior individual contributor and people-leader seat. The Director will own day-to-day fund accounting and administration for multiple sponsor clients, lead and mentor a team, and serve as the final technical reviewer on deliverables including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, and IRR calculations. The Director will maintain working relationships with sponsor CFOs, COOs, auditors, fund counsel, and banking partners.Responsibilities:Direct day-to-day fund accounting and administration across multiple investment sponsor clientsLead hands-on preparation and review of workpapers, investment schedules, accruals, financial statements with footnotes, and investor allocationsMaintain heavy daily client interaction, including frequent executive-level communicationOversee initial setup of client fund deliverables including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, and IRR calculationsPerform thorough technical review and sign off on all deliverables prior to Managing Director reviewLead, develop, and coach a team of Accountants across multiple levelsManage special projects as required by the platform and client baseRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics7+ years of fund accounting experience within a private equity fund, private equity fund administrator, or comparable financial institution5+ years of direct supervisory experienceHands-on experience with PIK and OID calculationsAdvanced experience preparing capital calls, distributions, and complex waterfall models including European and American carry structuresStrong working knowledge of Partnership Agreements, side letters, and Limited Partnership Agreement mechanicsAdvanced knowledge of US GAAP reporting for investment funds and investment companies under ASC 946
