Job Title: Project ManagerDepartment: Studio JReports To: Senior Project ManagerDate of Last Review: 1/23/25Job SummaryThe Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. This position involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet Rogue Architects' standards, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in Revit, leadership in restaurant project management, mentor junior staff, and continuously strive for excellence in project outcomes.Roles & Responsibilities Project Leadership:Serves as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and all team members involved in the project.Manages the accurate implementation of information and the delivery of documents through all phases of the project, including project closeout and lessons learned.Team Collaboration:Leads project teams in collaboration with other disciplines to develop solutions within project constraints, such as goals, budgets, timeframes, local and state ordinances, and codes.Provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring their development and success within projects.Client and Consultant Interaction:Begins to develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring effective communication with all project stakeholders to guarantee a complete understanding of project scope and objectives.Leverages firm resources, including project personnel and administrative staff, to facilitate project progress.Project Execution:Able to conduct as-built surveys, gathering photos, dimensions and information on site in order to create thorough and accurate as-built drawings. Actively participates in the creation of construction documents, through drafting and/or supervising junior staff.Coordinates construction administration activities, including bidding, RFI responses, submittals, and project closeout procedures.Monitors and anticipates potential issues, working proactively with the team to resolve them.Ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget by building, updating, and executing project schedules.Quality Assurance:Initiates and coordinates QA/QC procedures required for the project, including scheduling of reviews and follow-through.Schedules and coordinates the issuance of completed documents and affidavits, arranging for sealing as required.Financial Management:Collaborates with senior leadership on project financial performance, including negotiating additional services and monitoring cost overruns.Maintains accountability to project plans and utilization rates, and ensures projects are delivered within defined budget requirements.Project Monitoring:Monitors project progress using tools such as Ajera, responsible for timesheet and expense report approvals, logs project data, and manages KPI tracking.Conflict Resolution:Effectively resolves conflicts with assistance of SL or SPM and encourages a healthy team environment, ensuring a positive and productive workplace.Opportunities and Marketing:Identifies new opportunities with current clients and assists in marketing for repeat business.Skills & AbilitiesStrong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellence in RevitProficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and Photoshop.Understanding of architectural building systems, building codes, and construction documentation processes.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases.Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Ability to manage project budgets and schedules.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Ajera.Strong presentation and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.Firm grasp of building codes and ability to apply/incorporate them into documents.Work EnvironmentStandard office conditions with typical noise levels.May involve occasional exposure to construction site environments.Physical DemandsRegularly required to sit, stand, and walk.May involve occasional local and out-of-state travel to perform surveys in various conditions.Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkFull-time position.Primarily hybrid, three days in office and 2 days remote.Typical office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with some flexibility, as approved by supervisors.TravelTravel may be required as needed.Site visits as needed.Education And ExperienceAccredited degree in Architecture or a related field (Preferred).Typically, 4-6 years of successful experience managing multiple, multi-discipline projects.Certifications in relevant architectural software and methodologies are a plus.AAP/EEO StatementRogue Architects is an equal opportunity employer.
