Job TitleTechnical Expert for Navy's Hypersonic Weapon SystemJob DescriptionYou will serve as a technical expert within the Fight Systems Branch (SPC2) of the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) program office leading development of Navy's Hypersonic Weapon System.You will lead the technical execution and delivery of complex weapon system capabilities within an assigned Area of Responsibility by managing the efforts of contractors, laboratories, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.You will direct the translation of operational needs into rigorous technical specifications and actively manage the engineering requirements baseline throughout the acquisition lifecycle.You will apply professional engineering and physical science principles to conduct technical trade studies, resolve complex hardware integration issues, and oversee test and evaluation activities to verify system performance.You will develop and analyze integrated project schedules to forecast potential delays, identifying technical risks and aggressively driving mitigation plans to ensure on-time delivery.You will support budget formulation and contracting strategies by developing detailed cost estimates, translating technical requirements into actionable procurement packages, and monitoring financial execution.
