Position Title - Finance ControllerLocation - Rapid City, South DakotaJob Type - Full-timeNOT A TELECOMMUTE/WORK FROM HOME POSITION (**MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE IF NOT CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE RAPID CITY, SD AREA**)PSI is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Controller to join our growing office in Rapid City, SD. With an emphasis on operational and compliant aspects of the company accounting department, you will be a member of the management leadership team, working collaboratively with other managers to enable informed financial decisions for the business. You approach your work with a flexible, innovative, service-oriented mindset, and a strong emphasis on accounting methodologies and team member engagement. You possess an analytical mind, an ability to communicate timely financial information to your leadership colleagues, focus on attention to detail and a desire to be a critical team member of a dynamic, high-growth engineering company.ResponsibilitiesEnsure accounting staff is recording transactions correctly in a timely mannerPerform monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis and reconciliationsLead an accounting department that processes complex contract invoicing and multi-state payroll accounting functionsDevelop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets (monthly, quarterly, annually)Assist Senior Management with special projects to support strategic decision-making (e.g., "what if" strategic analysis, forecasting, new project P&L projections)Identify and track key performance metrics pertaining to business operations, gross margins, benchmarking, etcProvide contract compliance data related to indirect cost rates, complete calculations for state agency overhead rate reviewsMaintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies and directives, and current accounting standardsSupervise accounting team functions that complete multi-state tax registrations, tax payments and regulatory complianceCoordinate the company’s risk management and insurance policies, renewals, coverages, and audit requestsPreferred Qualifications10+ years' work experience in accounting management, financial statement analysis, GAAP compliance5+ years of people management experience in an accounting roleCMA or CPA license preferredBachelor’s degree in accounting from an AACSB certified institution requiredExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExtremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumenStrong communications skillsProject and time management skillsAbility to build strong relationships at all levels of the organizationExperience with accounting for federal government contracts is highly preferredWe offer 11 paid holidays, vacation, medical, dental, vision, life, health savings, 401k and paid time off.Project Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, women, individuals with disabilities, protected veterans and minorities are encouraged to apply.
