Tague Lumber is seeking a skilled and motivated In-House Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on, field-based role supporting the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our facilities as well as select customer locations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works well independently, and enjoys a variety of carpentry and light construction work.What Youll Do In this role, youll partner closely with each locations General Manager and play a key role in maintaining and improving our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to the safety, appearance, and functionality of our properties.Key responsibilities include:Performing general carpentry, repair, and renovation work across multiple sitesCompleting finish carpentry, framing, trim work, and installation projectsInstalling and repairing windows, doors, kitchens, flooring, and sidingHandling drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenanceSupporting routine upkeep of building systems and facility infrastructureAssisting with material and supply ordering for assigned projectsTraveling to Tague Lumber locations and customer sites throughout the Greater Philadelphia areaWhat Were Looking For Were looking for a dependable, detail-oriented carpenter who takes ownership of their work and delivers high-quality results.Required skills and experience:Strong background in carpentry and general construction workExperience with: Drywall repair and paintingDoor and window installation/repairKitchen installationTrim and finish carpentryFlooring installationFraming and basic structural workExterior siding repairsLight electrical and plumbing workAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and organizational skillsSolid mathematical skills for measuring and layout workStrong customer service and professional interaction skillsAbility to manage time effectively and work extended hours when neededWillingness to travel locally as requiredAdditional Requirements Valid drivers license requiredAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPIa7975c234ed8-26289-40423296
