Position Overview We are hiring a Gardener / Landscape Maintenance Technician to help care for established ornamental gardens and residential landscapes. This role is ideal for someone with experience in horticulture, plant care, garden maintenance, or fine gardening. Responsibilities Maintain ornamental gardens: weeding, pruning, deadheading, edging, mulching Perform detailed shrub pruning and perennial cutbacks Monitor plant health and identify pests, disease, or nutrient issues Install seasonal plantings (annuals, perennials, shrubs) Assist with spring cleanups and fall garden preparation Maintain clean, organized work areas Communicate professionally with clients Qualifications Experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance preferred Plant identification knowledge strongly preferred Understanding of pruning techniques and plant care practices Detail-oriented and self-motivated Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Valid driver’s license preferred Why Work With Us Work in beautiful, well-designed residential gardens Supportive, small-team environment Opportunity to grow horticultural expertise Competitive pay based on experience Meaningful, plant-focused work Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
