Commissioning Manager (Phoenix)
Site Commissioning Manager The Select Group is seeking a Site Commissioning Manager to support TSG as we continue expanding one of the largest data center footprints in the world.This individual will play a critical role in the delivery of new data center capacity, partnering closely with construction, engineering, operations, and vendor teams to ensure successful commissioning of mission critical infrastructure. This is a hands-on site leadership opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and enjoys driving complex projects through completion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead commissioning efforts for assigned data center construction projects from pre-functional testing through final turnoverCoordinate closely with construction managers, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and operations teams throughout the project lifecycleDrive project execution across scope, schedule, quality, and issue resolutionOversee QA/QC processes and ensure systems are commissioned to client standardsSupport execution of testing activities across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and controls systemsConduct site inspections and monitor commissioning readinessTrack milestones, risks, open issues, and project progress; provide regular updates to leadershipManage third-party commissioning agents and vendor partnersParticipate in owner/architect/contractor meetings and cross-functional project reviewsContribute to process improvements, best practices, and standardization efforts across the commissioning programWork independently across multiple project sites within the metro area as neededRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in data center construction, mission critical facilities, commissioning, industrial construction, or related infrastructure environmentsHands-on experience supporting commissioning, startup, turnover, or closeout activitiesWorking knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a construction environmentExperience with QA/QC processes, field inspections, and issue resolutionAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentationExperience coordinating contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong organizational and communication skillsComfortable working in active construction environments and fully onsiteOSHA 30 certificationNFPA 70E certificationPreferred QualificationsData center or hyperscale infrastructure experienceExperience commissioning MEP and controls systemsPMP or formal project management trainingPrior experience managing third-party commissioning teamsLocation: Phoenix, AZ (Fully Onsite) TSG is an equal opportunity employer.
