Maintenance Technician - Gwinn

Bay Human Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician with skills in basic repair and maintenance of building exteriors and interiors as well as knowledge of safe work practices and policies. This position will perform a variety of semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification, and repair activities in Bay Human Services buildings. Daily travel will be necessary between locations and to acquire supplies needed. Come be part of our team! Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianReports To: Regional ManagerFLSA Classification: Non ExemptTravel: Daily travel will be necessary between locations and to acquire supplies needed.Qualifications:One year of assignment related maintenance experienceValid Driver's License requiredAble to pass criminal background checkMust have your own toolsJobs/Shifts:Part Time - 20 hours a week Essential Duties and Functions:Perfeorm a variety of semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification, and repair activities in Bay Human Services buildings.Will receive work orders from and respond in a timely manner to the site which is designated in the work order.Complete a timecard as instructed by the Regional Manager and perform other duties as directed.Notify the site Manager if required to leave the site and will estimate the time of return.Assess the needed repairs, procure needed materials, and complete the repair in a timely manner.Consult with the Regional Manager when a job requires significant expenditures or appears to require repairs beyond the scope of general maintenance.Respond to crisis/emergency maintenance situations in addition to the regularly scheduled times and number of hours.Adhere to all Bay Human Services policies and procedures and rules. Essential Job Functions - Physical Requirements:Ability to meet physical demands of the job including stooping, bending, turning, stretching, lifting, and moving equipment.Ability to work in an environment that generates ongoing noise from individual(s), audio devices, equipment, etc.Onsite work required. Required to work variable hours/ shifts.Use and provide varied hand and power tools. Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 90 poundsMust possess strength and stamina and mobility to perform job duties in all weather conditions.
