The following frequencies and percentage of time spent are approximations only and are subject to flexibility dependent on organizational needs.Provides for the delivery and documentation of health service to students under the guidelines of the Nurse Practice Act, and district policies and procedures.Teams with health care providers, parents and school personnel to identify, develop and implement applicable Plans that mitigate health-related obstacles to learning.Coordinates staff development (including but not limited to universal precautions, child abuse prevention, infectious disease guidelines).Serves as a knowledgeable resource on health related topics for staff and parents.Reports to ACDHS or law enforcement as required.Attends school meetings (school, nurse and district.)Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
