You will use your expertise and experience to work with maintenance leadership, our operators & vendors to ensure maximum uptime and help us safely meet our production goals. Devens is a nonunion facility.How You Will Help UsFollow all safety rules and practicesDepending on your level, provide electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventive and emergency maintenance for our fast-paced corrugated packaging facilityAs priorities demand, performing emergency breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations including preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.Our more senior team members are expected to help train peers and junior team members on skillsets you can shareWhat You Will Need To SucceedDepending on your career level, a successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, mechanical drives, pneumatics, hydraulics on high speed, high volume industrial equipment.Critical skillset is troubleshooting and repairing DC Electrical Controls.The ability to reference equipment manuals.Strong understanding and application of precision maintenanceWillingness to maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks May operate forklifts, hoists, and other heavy equipment Strong knowledge of maintenance work order systemsStrong Computer Skills & willingness to update parts inventories, work orders and work instructions on a daily basisStrong understanding of 5SA willingness to take advantage of our company paid, best in class training and developmentEducation And Work ExperienceAt least two, preferably five or more years’ experience working with large industrial equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance & repair. Mechanics must, at a minimum must demonstrate proper selection, maintenance and precision installation of power transmission equipment, gearbox, mechanical drives, mechanical and fluid drive systems. Techs must have Electrical knowledge and experience with electrical and industrial control systems.Excellent communication skills and a team attitude are a must. Experience in corrugated packaging or similar high volume, no redundancy manufacturing environment is highly valued.A fireman license valid in the Commonwealth of MA or the willingness to obtain one at company expense is required. The starting rate is $40-45 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location.
