This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day performance, meeting occupancy and financial goals, and cultivating a high-performing on-site team.The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of experience, strong operational knowledge, and the ability to lead with confidence and compassion.Key Responsibilities:Resident RelationsProvide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with residentsAddress inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionalProperty MaintenanceCoordinate regular property inspections, repairs, and upgradesEnsure all maintenance issues are handled quickly and efficientlyLeasing & MarketingOversee the leasing process: show units, screen applicants, and execute leasesSupport occupancy goals through creative marketing and outreach strategiesFinancial ManagementManage the property budget, monitor expenses, and meet financial targetsCollect rent, minimize delinquencies, and maintain accurate recordsStaff LeadershipSupervise maintenance and on-site staff, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing training and supportFoster a strong team culture focused on accountability and resultsCompliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Fair Housing lawsUphold Ambo’s policies, procedures, and quality standardsVendor ManagementCoordinate third-party vendors for maintenance and repairsMonitor performance and manage vendor contractsMove-In/Move-Out ManagementManage turnover process to ensure units are clean, repaired, and ready for new residentsConduct final inspections and manage security deposit processingWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of property management experience (Required) Bilingual in English and SpanishProven ability to lead teams, meet goals, and solve problems efficientlyDeep understanding of leasing practices, budgeting, rent collections, and vendor managementFamiliar with Yardi, RealPage, Remote Landlord, or similar property management softwareStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsKnowledge of Fair Housing Laws and state/local landlord-tenant lawsMust be able to work some weekends and respond to emergency issues as neededPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk the property daily and perform inspectionsLift up to 25 lbs occasionallyTasks may require kneeling, bending, and stair climbingCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience) + performance bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and sick leaveLeadership training and internal promotion opportunitiesA team-first, solution-oriented culture that supports your growthDirect impact on community success and resident experience
