System Educator, Center for Allied Health
ResponsibilitiesThe System Educator for the Norton Healthcare Institute for Education and Development, plans, implements, and evaluates the needs of student/staff hired in departments assigned for Norton Healthcare. This individual works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care teams to meet education needs, and is responsible for competency and skills related to clinical specialty. The System Educator utilizes age-appropriate principles of learning and growth in the development and planning of education and provision of patient care. The educator's role calls for skill in teaching and supervision. This individual acts in a leadership role and functions as a resource liaison between all Norton Healthcare facilities. The educator needs to be an expert educator and an innovator of new concepts applicable to specialty services. The individual is also responsible for staff CEU and classroom didactic education and serves as a role model teacher/advisor for caregivers.QualificationsRequired:Three years formal instruction or 5 years experience in a credential/licensed clinical position (Radiology, Lab, and Respiratory)Bachelor DegreeDesiredThree years in clinical environment and adult learningMaster DegreeRegistered Nurse
