Here is what the job actually looks like day to day: Support Team Leaders and fellow installers on job sites Handle demo, prep, repairs, and finish-stage coating work Keep job sites, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and efficient Move and manage materials safely and with care Operate basic tools and equipment under guidance Show up on time, every day, ready to work What we need from you: Willingness to learn and take direction without attitude Comfortable with basic hand tools and physical labour Focused, reliable, and respectful to the crew and client sites Strong attention to detail and a tidy working habit Physically ready for a full day on the tools What will not work here: Bad attitude, drama, or letting personal issues affect your reliability Needing to be told the same thing more than once Treating this like a casual job rather than a career If yours values do not align with ours BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE HERE THAN JUST A JOB... WHAT HAPPENS NEXT Here is exactly what the process looks like from the moment you apply: Step 1 — Application Review We review every email that comes in. Step 2 — Phone Screen (20 minutes) A quick call to get to know you, hear about your background, and answer any questions you have about the role. Step 3 — In-Person Interview (60 to 90 minutes) We’ll sit down, walk through the role in detail, talk about your goals and what you’re looking for, and give you a real picture of what working at ABI looks like day to day. This is as much about you deciding if we’re the right fit as it is us deciding the same. Step 4 — Reference Checks We’ll reach out to your references. We keep it straightforward and respectful. Good references from people who can speak to your reliability and attitude carry a lot of weight here. Step 5 — Paid Trial Day on Site You’ll spend a day working alongside the crew on a real job. This is paid at your agreed rate. It’s a chance for you to see exactly what the work looks like and for us to see how you operate on site. Most people who get to this stage get offered the role. Step 6 — Offer If it’s a great fit on both sides, we’ll put a formal offer together. We’ll confirm your start rate, your hours, and what the first 30 days look like so you know exactly what to expect walking through the door on day one.
