Shipping Floater (M-F), 2nd ShiftTitle: Shipping Floater (M-F), 2nd ShiftLocation: Westfield, WIDepartment: Westfield - ShippingClassification: NonexemptHours: 2:20p.m. - 10:50p.m. Hours will varyWage: $24.14 per hourJob Duties:Safely operate the Yard Dog to hook, move, and back trailers into the docks and confined areas of the propertySafely operate the Genie scissor lift more than 30ft to clear obstructed lanes and remove frost build up in the warehouseAccurately picking, staging, loading orders in SAP, Transferring product to and from storageLearn all freezer layoutsMaintain lanes in Storage freezers for Maximum capacity and efficiencyWorking in -0 temperaturesMust communicate with Production, R&D, Q.A and TransportationMaintaining clean docks, freezers, office, and storage areasWork with the onsite USDA inspector to get all export orders stamped and inspected in a timely mannerAccurately recording department inspections/maintenanceWorking well within the teamLoading outbound as well as unloading inbound trailersResponsible for any other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:Exposure to varying temperatures, from warm to extremely cold, moving equipment, slippery floors, heavy and repeated liftingWorking at heights greater than 30ft dailyOperating the yard dog in inclement weather, rain, and snowWear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or requiredQualifications:Must demonstrate good communication skillsMust be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and twist, up to 8 hours per dayMust be able to work with limited supervisionMust have basic computer literacyMust meet the physical abilities evaluation requirements for this positionMust successfully complete all required training including Yard Dog, Genie scissor lift, Power Jack/ Forklift, and Hazard communication training coursesAble to work overtime as neededSuccessful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are requiredBrakebush provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
