Manager of Technical Accounting and Policy

Job DescriptionHoneywell Aerospace is looking for a Controllership Manager in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role you will leverage your accounting knowledge and experience to research complex accounting and business topics while collaborating cross-functionally to set standards and policies and prepare monthly/quarterly accounting and reporting deliverables. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting and Policy and is on a hybrid (in-office/remote) arrangement.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities: Manage the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and policies, monitoring proposed and enacted updates from the FASB and SEC Provide consultation with various business stakeholders regarding significant or unique transactions and new contracts Prepare and/or review monthly and quarterly corporate accounting adjustments and reconciliations Support quarter and year-end financial statement footnote preparation Liaison with the Finance Systems team and outside consultants during upcoming ERP implementationQualificationsMust haves: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field CPA or working towards obtaining a CPA license Minimum 5 years experience in a related field.
