This environment offers opportunities to solve complex technical problems while working within strict security and operational constraints.Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. This role focuses on working directly with customers to design, implement, and maintain AI-enabled software solutions in high-security settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing backend services and integrations, writing production-quality code, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate operational requirements into technical designs. The engineer will participate in code reviews, deploy and monitor applications, create technical documentation, and help ensure systems meet security, performance, and reliability standards. The position involves working closely with stakeholders on-site to adapt solutions to evolving needs and provide hands-on technical support.QualificationsProficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-quality applicationsHands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, working with APIs, databases, and distributed systemsSolid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application in modern codebasesExperience deploying and supporting software in secure or regulated environments is highly beneficialFamiliarity with AI/ML systems, data pipelines, or model integration into production services is a plusComfort working directly with customers, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical solutions
