Learning Project Manager (Global L&D) – 100% Remote
We're partnering with a global organization to identify an experienced Learning Project Manager to lead enterprise-level learning initiatives across a diverse, international workforce.This role operates within a highly matrixed, global environment, requiring strong stakeholder alignment across L&D, HR, business leaders, and external partners. It's a great fit for someone who thrives in complexity, can bring structure to ambiguity, and knows how to drive alignment without direct authority.What You'll DoLead end-to-end project management for global learning initiativesDefine scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependenciesPartner across a matrixed organization to drive alignment and outcomesDetermine build vs. buy approaches and support vendor selectionManage cross-functional teams and serve as the primary point of contactCreate and maintain project plans, status reports, and key deliverablesEnsure vendor performance aligns with scope, quality, and timelinesDrive communication, manage risks, and keep projects moving forwardStart: ASAPDuration: estimated 6 months (likely extension)Hours: 40/weekLocation: RemoteSchedule: EST or CST preferredTravel: Up to 10%Experience Required:5+ years of project management experience5+ years in Learning & DevelopmentExperience managing learning programs across a global workforceProven success working in matrixed, cross-functional environmentsStrong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principlesAbility to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills, including presenting to senior leadersNice to HavePMP or CAPM certificationATD or similar L&D certificationExperience with tools like Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or TrelloExposure to AI-enabled learning solutionsThe Right FitBrings structure and clarity to complex projectsStrong stakeholder presence and emotional intelligenceComfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting prioritiesEffective at influencing without direct authorityBalances strategic thinking with hands-on executionNOTE: 100% Virtual PositionsDue to the nature of this virtual position, we anticipate a high number of responses from interested applicants.
