Electronics Technician
Tyto Athene is searching for an Electronics Technician to support day to day activities for several of our existing programs.Responsibilities:Understand and analyze design documentation and system data.Complete high-quality device and component installation and maintenance activitiesExecute testing to verify high quality installationsInstall system raceway (conduit) & system cablingTerminate and test system cabling and all componentsInstall equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and all mounting hardware componentsMeet all attendance requirements and working hours of the projectCommunicate effectively with supervisors & subordinatesIncorporate, and always follow all required safety practices.Required:Five (2-5) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activitiesHS diploma or GEDValid driver's licenseAbility to obtain a DCJS certification to work within the Virginia Department of Corrections system.Agreeable to submit for SSA suitability to support electronic security installations within SSA offices around the country.Formal Electronics Training as follows:Military Electronics Training ORGraduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program ORGraduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program ORAdditional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.Desired:Current DCJS certificationCertification/experience with Lenel, Honeywell, Hanwha and MilestoneAbility to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret level clearance.Active suitability determination from SSA for security workOpen to travel weekly.Location/Travel:Position is remote with travel required
