Title: Lab Technician InternshipWork location: Hybrid (Remote and Monterey, California)Salary: $4,000 per monthDuration of the position: until 12/31/2024Summary:Conduct research on Experimental Scaleup of 3D-Printed Microfluidic Biofuel Cells at clientJob Responsibilities:1. Conduct experimental testing and optimizations of 3D-printed biofuel cell chips and arrays.2. Conduct data acquisition, photo documentation, and data analysis of experimental results.3. Provide the following deliverables: 3.1 Optimized chip geometries, optimized fabrication protocols, and functional chips. 3.2 Experimental data acquisition, documentation, and analysis.Requirements:College education in a STEM field. Could be an ongoing program, e.g. for a current college student. The STEM field must be physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a sufficiently closely related field.At least one year of experience with experimental research in a STEM fieldAt least one year of experience with 3D-printed devicesAt least one year of experience with microfluidicsAt least one year of experience in biofuel cells researchExperience with CAD (computer-assisted design)
