Dedicated Team Driver - Home Weekly What you'll need to succeed as a Team Driver at XPOMinimum qualifications:Be a member of an existing team. We are only recruiting existing teams, and both team members must apply to this positionAble to partner with another driver in a sleeper tractor on extended runsBe at least 21 years of ageHave a valid Class A commercial driver's licenseHave a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systemsSafe driving record and historyHold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physicalAvailable to work away from home in a five-day work weekPossess hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsementsPreferred qualifications:Team driving or over-the-road experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and team membersAble to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and cooperationAbout the Team Driver jobPay, benefits and more:Weekly payMileage pay will be paid at the designated rate of $0.946 per mile, split between each driver ($0.473 per mile) for all tasks related to the completion of the loadHourly pay of $34.39 will be provided for en route waiting times of more than an hour due to traffic, construction or weather-related delaysReimbursement for on-the-road showersTypical schedule is 5 days on, 2 days offFull health insurance benefits available on day oneHourly pay for 6 holidaysPTO offered401k with company matchNo touch and in-house freightShops and fueling stations across the network to reduce delays2023 Freightliner and Kenworth automatic trucksMicrowaves and refrigerators in sleeper cabsTool and repair kit in tractorsWhat you'll do on a typical day:Run loads between XPO facilities for pickup and drop off and work with fellow XPO employeesNavigate various routes, maintain CMV safety, and ensure compliance with transportation regulationsOperate various tractor-trailer combinations over long distances in a typical 5-day work week away from homeOperate the vehicle safely within DOT regulationsOperate all internal freight transportation work tools and required systemsTeam Drivers are required to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.)Safely climb in/out of tractor cab/trailerSit for extended periods in a truck tractorReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelOperate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours; in all types of weather, while safely transporting all freight typesProperly operate a handheld deviceAbout XPOXPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
