Structural Engineer

Job Description:This position will be responsible for providing technical support and engineering assistance to all Client facilities.Responsibilities:Assets MaintenancePerform periodic inspection and auditing of all Client facilities to review condition and propose any additional inspections, necessary repairs and/or upgrades of existing structuresKeep track of any regulatory changes and building codes for all locations of Client operations project related workProvide Structural Engineering support to the Project Management team during design and construction phases of new installationsProvide input to Project Managers regarding budget and time schedule preparation of major projectsSupervise site and soil survey works to assist in the proper design and engineering of foundationsAssist during the permitting and site development phasesEnsure code compliance of all new buildings and installations and work with Project Managers to issue all necessary building and occupancy permitsAssist in preparation of all necessary scopes of work for all foundation, concrete, steel, and structural works of major projects. Participate in the evaluation process for the selection of the proper design and construction firmsProvide supervision during major and critical phases of a project related to Structural Engineering worksRequirements:3-5 years' experience in Structural Engineering positions preferably in heavy industrial installationsKnowledge of Project Management and CAD packages will be considered a plus.Knowledge of structural design software packages will be considered a plusProfessional license in any State will be considered a plusEducation:B.S. degree in Structural Engineering is requiredWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
