Located at the forefront of technological advancements, LeVanta Tech is dedicated to pushing boundaries in the field of drone technology.Role DescriptionThe LeVanta engineering technician will help build and test prototypes, requiring extensive hands-on work. The technician will also be expected to work independently with a creative and proactive approach, identifying potential problems and offering solutions. Tasks include but are not limited to engineering research, product/component design, test and data analysis, and hands on fabrication of prototype drone components, drones, and drone testing apparatus and support infrastructure. The start-up environment is dynamic, lean, demanding, and fast-paced. The ideal candidate is someone who can immediately contribute, deliver on planned goals, and motivate and infect others with a passion for product development. The individual hired for this position will be required to work at LeVanta’s facility in Stennis, MS.  Skills & Experience Required:Microsoft Office proficientSolidworks or other CAD software proficiencySkills & Experience Preferred:Structural design & composites work3-D printingElectrical wiring, harness, and assemblyDrone software programming and/or flight & pilotingJob title: Engineering Technician     Location: Stennis, MSYears of Experience: Minimum 2 years      Job Type: Full-Time (40 hr/wk)Reports To: CTO, Johnny DooTravel Required: MinimalAnnual Salary: $25/hour                       Other Requirements: US Citizenship            Education Required: BS/AS degree or trade school certificate or significant hands-on technical and engineering experience. Preference for educational experience in mechanical, ocean, aeronautical, computer science/engineering, or electrical engineering, or closely related field. Candidates with significant training and skill sets in trade disciplines will also be considered.
