*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Controller and lead the financial management of complex infrastructure projects within the construction industry. This pivotal role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in project cost control, budgeting, and financial reporting. As a Controller, you will ensure compliance with construction regulations, manage project finances efficiently, and support project teams in delivering successful outcomes. Your expertise will drive financial integrity and operational excellence across multiple projects, fostering growth and sustainability within our organization. *Duties* * Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including cost management, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitability and fiscal responsibility. * Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, or similar tools to coordinate timelines effectively. * Manage project budgets by tracking expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions to stay within financial targets. * Collaborate with project managers and site teams to review construction plans, schedules, and regulatory compliance requirements ensuring adherence to industry standards. * Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or Prolog to prepare accurate cost estimates and support project bidding processes. * Lead the management of construction regulatory compliance by ensuring all projects meet local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. * Supervise teams involved in project coordination, schedule updates, and document control using software such as Civil 3D or Bluebeam to streamline workflows. * Monitor project progress through regular reporting and analysis, adjusting strategies as needed to meet deadlines and budget goals. * Facilitate communication between stakeholders by preparing comprehensive reports on project financial health and schedule status. * Ensure effective time management across multiple projects by prioritizing tasks, managing resources efficiently, and maintaining clear documentation. *Skills* * Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, project management principles, and cost control techniques specific to heavy civil or commercial infrastructure projects. * Proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects from inception through completion while maintaining regulatory compliance. * Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a construction management environment; capable of motivating staff and fostering collaboration. * Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies affecting large-scale projects. * Skilled in project estimation processes including construction estimating techniques for accurate bid preparation. * Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management to handle multiple priorities effectively. * Strong communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
