Security Officer, Third Shift

This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a dynamic environment that values dedication and integrity. *Duties* * Conduct continuous surveillance using CCTV systems and perform regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches. * Control access points through advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. * Respond swiftly to emergency situations by executing established emergency response procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols. * Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other occurrences to ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up actions. * Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of security screening processes to uphold safety standards. * Manage physical security measures such as manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies. * De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques while maintaining professionalism and compliance with security regulations. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a strong understanding of physical security protocols. * Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems. * Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use is highly desirable. * Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting when required. * Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation of events. * Knowledge of emergency response procedures and fire safety regulations applicable to security operations. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict de-escalation effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor. * Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings in compliance with legal standards.
