It is a working leadership role within a secure correctional healthcare environment, offering consistency, collaboration, and the opportunity to influence care delivery for a diverse patient population.Position DetailsLocation:Warren County Detention Center, North CarolinaPosition:Licensed Practical Nurse Medical Services CoordinatorSchedule:Monday through FridayHours:32 hours per weekSign On&Retention BonusKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care while coordinating daily nursing operationsSupport and guide nursing staff to ensure consistent, high quality careAssess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progressAdminister medications in accordance with nursing standards and correctional regulationsEnsure treatment plans and provider directives are followed accuratelyRespond to medical concerns, emergencies, and time sensitive situationsMaintain compliance with State Scope of Practice, facility policies, and clinical guidelinesServe as a liaison between nursing staff, providers, and facility leadership
