Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.We are experiencing tremendous growth in the area of flexible packaging in our solvent ink division, so we invite you to be a part of this exciting and growing team! In fact, 1/3 of our Chemist team has over 15 years of experienceINX has cutting-edge innovation and technologyYou will work in a collaborative team culture and in an autonomous work environmentWe have many opportunities for growthAs a R&D Chemist you will be responsible for:Troubleshooting issues with existing technologies, as well as assisting with customer challengesDeveloping new UV Flexo / UV Screen Ink technologies based on customer needsSome EB Liquid work and UV/EB Coatings work as wellEvaluating raw materials and optimizing formulations for cost-savings opportunitiesProviding technical support to manufacturingPublishing project reports and other documents direct to sales and customersMaintaining laboratory equipmentQualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent5 plus years of job-related experienceInk and coating formulation experienceHave strong math and science skillsBe a proficient recordkeeperHave good and effective written, reading comprehension and verbal skillsBe able to interpret data and draw effective conclusionsIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:Knowledge of UV/EB Liquid Ink and CoatingsFormulation and application experience preferredSAP experienceAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
