Job Title: Phlebotomist I Job Location: Chino, CA Job Duration: 4 months Shift: Mon-Fri 07:00 AM - 4:00 PM Pay rate: $22 - $27.19/hr on W2 Job Description:The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company for patients seeking healthcare services, either for routine care or critical health decisions.The PSR I is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing, following established practices and procedures.This position involves direct patient interaction, where the PSR I ensure a trusting and confident environment by clearly explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner.The PSR I is expected to demonstrate leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and precision in patient information. Key Responsibilities:Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.Confidently handle both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, adhering to established protocols.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Promote a positive image of the company and provide excellent service to patients, clients, employees, and the general public. Job Requirements:Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients.Flexible and available for various shifts based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Required Education:High school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.Phlebotomy certification is required. Work Experience:A minimum of 6 months of experience is required.One year or more of phlebotomy experience is preferred.Experience in customer service within a retail or service environment is preferred.Keyboard/data entry experience is essential.
