Manufacturing EngineerSchedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSalary: $70,000 - $78,000 annuallyOverviewWe are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and making a real impact on production operations. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, production, and leadership teams to develop and optimize manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and support overall production goals.This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys both the technical and hands-on side of manufacturing. The role is primarily office-based but includes regular interaction with the production floor, allowing you to see your improvements come to life in real time.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement new manufacturing processes while improving existing workflows to increase efficiency, quality, and cost effectivenessConduct time studies, process evaluations, and system analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructionsTroubleshoot production challenges and equipment issues alongside maintenance and production teamsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address defects or inefficienciesMonitor manufacturing operations to ensure processes meet quality, safety, and operational standardsOptimize workflow and production layouts to reduce bottlenecks and improve productivityAssist with selecting, designing, and implementing machinery, tools, and equipment used in production processesSupport the installation, calibration, and testing of new equipmentEvaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades when neededPartner with quality teams to support inspection processes and maintain product quality standardsPrepare reports and updates on production performance, process improvements, and project progressQualificationsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication, assembly, or weldingKnowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit or stand for extended periods while reviewing processes or troubleshooting equipmentAbility to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds when neededExposure to industrial machinery and electrical systems within a manufacturing environmentWork may take place in both office settings and on the production floorOccasional travel to manufacturing facilities or vendor locations may be requiredEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field (Open to new graduates)1-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment1-2 years of experience using SolidWorksIf you are a detail-oriented engineer who enjoys improving processes and collaborating with teams to drive results, we encourage you to apply.Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected VeteransThe Know Your Rights poster is available here:https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdfThe pay transparency policy is available here:https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdfFor temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.We are committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
