DETAILS Provider will work shifts at both Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center and Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital Emergency Departments MEMORIAL REGIONAL ED Volume: 55,000 ED Beds: 41 ED Admission Rate: 21% Staffing Model: Physician: 8–9 hour shifts, mostly double coverage at all times, dedicated nocturnist, 52 physician hour coverage on average over 24 hour period APP: 8-10 hour shifts EMR: Epic with Dragon EM Residents that rotate from VCU Vertical Fast Track with 2 rooms and internal waiting area Three CT machines in ED Plain Film Suite in ED Three In-House Interventional Cath Labs Receiving hospital for STEMI patients RICHMOND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL ED Volume: 36,000 15-20% of patient volume is pediatrics ED Beds: 17 beds (13-bed Main ED and 4-bed fast track) All private rooms (12 monitored, five not monitored) ED Admission Rate: 3% Average Daily Encounters: 2-2.2 patients/hr Staffing Model: Physicians: 8-12 hour shifts, single physician coverage 24 hours a day APPs: 8-10 hour shifts EMR: Epic with Dragon HospitalsMEMORIAL REGIONAL 255 beds 24/7 In-House Coverage for physician services includes: Anesthesia, ICU, OB, and Radiology including CT & MRI On-call services include: Neurosurgery, Ortho, and Psych US with doppler, Echo, and IR also available Primary Stroke Center Primary STEMI Center with in-house cath lab RICHMOND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL Since 1907, Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital has been serving the needs of Richmond residents.
