Accounts Receivable Specialist II

As a key member of the Jenzabar Finance team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist II will work with our team members to ensure both contract setup and invoicing is processed in an accurate and timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in billing who is looking to hone their skills and broaden their accounting background within a collaborative team environment.Essential TasksSet-up sales orders/projects for new contracts based on contracted termsProcess Professional Services, SaaS, Subscription, Marketing Services, and other assorted billings in an accurate and timely mannerProcess annual renewal billings for clientsReview and ensure all billings have been completed as part of Month End CloseWorks closely with the Accounting Manager II to rectify any possible billing discrepancies Assist with payment processingAssist with client collectionsProduce various reports as neededRespond promptly to client billing inquiriesAssist with system improvement initiatives, streamlining and automating the billing processesProvide backup support to other members of the finance team Assist with ad hoc projects / research as neededOther duties as assignedPreferred Skills & ExperienceAssociate's degree or higher in Accounting/Business/Finance or equivalent experience2+ years' billing experience in a services organization preferredHave a high level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsHighly motivated, organized, proactive self-starter and team playerAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExcellent communication skillsProficient in Microsoft ExcelNetSuite experience highly preferred but not requiredCertinia experience a plus but not requiredExcellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesFlexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesThe pay range for this position is $48,000-$54,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
