About the Opportunity:The Quality Control Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of mortgage operations. This position is responsible for auditing loan originations and servicing activities, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting compliance with relevant policies, investor requirements, and regulatory standards. The role contributes to risk management by uncovering trends and strengthening processes through analysis and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.3. Responsibilities:• Conduct audits of mortgage loan originations and servicing activities for compliance.• Review loan files and underwriting decisions to identify deficiencies and trends.• Collaborate with third-party vendors and teams to resolve audit findings.• Analyze audit results and assist with root cause analysis.• Prepare reports to support continuous process improvement.• Respond to external audit findings and assist with required self-reporting.• Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulations and investor guidelines.4. Requirements:• Minimum 1 year experience in mortgage origination or servicing quality control.• Experience independently reviewing mortgage loan files for compliance with Conventional, FHA, VA, and/or USDA guidelines.• Thorough understanding of TRID guidelines and applicable federal mortgage regulations.5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• $60,000 per year, paid hourly ($28.85/hour).6.
