Job DescriptionJob Title: Estimator - Commercial InteriorsLocation: Smyrna, GAIndustry: Commercial Interior ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-respected commercial interiors contractor specializing in high-quality tenant improvement and renovation projects. The company focuses on corporate offices, law firms, healthcare facilities, and higher-education environments, delivering projects for clients who value long-term partnerships. With the majority of their business coming from repeat clients, the team has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and strong client relationships.Position OverviewThe Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process by preparing accurate cost estimates and collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are properly scoped and priced. This individual will work closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver competitive bids and support successful project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial interior construction projectsReview plans, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate quantity takeoffsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bidsDevelop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliersIdentify value engineering opportunities and potential cost risksAssist in preparing proposals, budgets, and bid packagesMaintain and update cost databases and historical pricingCollaborate with project managers and leadership during preconstructionQualificationsIdeally 5+ years of experience estimating commercial interior construction or tenant improvement projectsExperience with projects such as corporate offices, law firms, healthcare, or higher-education facilities preferredStrong understanding of construction documents, materials, and building systemsProficiency with estimating software and ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageConsistent pipeline of work with long-term, repeat clientsCollaborative team environmentOpportunity to work on high-quality interior construction projectsThis is a great opportunity for an Estimator who enjoys the fast-paced nature of interior construction and contributing to projects for long-standing clients.Contact me directly to talk further about the opportunity.
