Financial Controller

We are an outsourced finance and accounting firm supporting fast-growing startups across SaaS, health tech, and e-commerce.We’re looking for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys both:running clean month-end accounting processes, andimproving systems through automation and AI.This role is ideal for someone who has strong accounting fundamentals but also enjoys building efficient workflows using tools like QuickBooks Online, Zapier, Google Apps Script, ChatGPT, and modern finance tools.You’ll manage accounting across multiple startup clients, own month-end close processes, improve reporting workflows, and help reduce manual work through automation.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Benicia CA Pacific time, with a 1 hour unpaid break.
