This role sits at the intersection of healthcare operations, data, and product—turning complex data into decisions that improve how hospitals run.Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Leadership & Problem DefinitionPartner with clinicians, administrators, and executives to identify high-impact operational challengesDefine KPIs and success metrics tied to perioperative performance and business outcomesAct as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders from questions → insights → action Analytics Strategy & ExecutionTranslate business needs into structured analytical approaches and technical requirementsLead deep-dive analyses on efficiency, cost, and clinical outcomesEnsure insights are actionable, not just descriptive Product & Platform InfluenceShape the evolution of the analytics suite by defining requirements and prioritizing featuresPartner with product and engineering to ensure solutions meet real user needsValidate dashboards and reporting tools for usability and impact Team LeadershipManage and develop a team of performance insights analystsSet a high bar for analytical rigor, communication, and business impactBuild team capabilities in both technical execution and stakeholder influence Data Governance & QualityEstablish and maintain standards for data accuracy, consistency, and reliabilityPartner with engineering to ensure scalable and trustworthy data pipelines Adoption & Change ManagementDrive adoption of analytics tools across diverse user groups (e.g., surgeons, periop leaders)Develop training, documentation, and enablement strategiesAddress resistance and ensure insights translate into real-world behavior change Scaling & Continuous ImprovementIncorporate user feedback to continuously improve analytics capabilitiesExpand data sources and analytical depth as the platform evolvesEnsure the system scales with increasing data complexity and customer needsWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in analytics, consulting, or performance improvement within healthcare or a related domainStrong hands-on analytical skills (SQL required; experience with BI tools like Looker/Tableau)Experience translating ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and recommendationsProven ability to work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and business teams3+ years of people management experience with a track record of developing talentExperience driving projects from problem definition through execution and measurable impactBonus Points ForDeep familiarity with perioperative workflows, metrics, and challengesExperience in a healthcare consulting firm, digital health company, or health systemExposure to SaaS analytics platforms or enterprise implementationsExperience working with EHR data (e.g., Epic, Cerner)Background in influencing product or analytics roadmap decisionsAdditional DetailsTravel: Up to ~15% within the U.S.Role scope: Team leadership + individual contribution (player-coach model)Compensation for this role is based on market data and takes into account a variety of factors, including location, skills, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. Salary is just one part of the total rewards package at Qventus.
