The role involves planning and executing hardware validation and verification activities for complex electronic systems and components. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing hardware requirements and specifications, defining test strategies and test cases, and performing functional, performance, and reliability testing on prototypes and production hardware. The Hardware Validation & Verification professional will document test procedures and results, analyze defects, work closely with hardware development and architecture teams to resolve issues, and support root-cause analysis and design improvements. The role also includes maintaining test equipment and fixtures, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, and contributing to continuous improvement of validation processes.Key Responsibilities:• Develop, maintain, and debug Python-based hardware validation scripts• Execute board-level and interface-level verification and validation testing• Translate hardware requirements into test procedures and pass/fail criteria• Debug hardware, firmware, and test script issues• Perform root cause analysis and issue isolation• Maintain test documentation, logs, and requirement traceability• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams• Improve test automation, reliability, and lab efficiencyRequired Skills:Hardware Verification & Validation (HW V&V)Python scripting for hardware testingHardware interfaces: UART, RS-422/RS-485, SPI, I2C, GPIO, Ethernet, CANExperience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, and signal generatorsTest procedure development and executionHardware debugging and troubleshootingGit and version control
