CNC Machine Shop Supervisor

Balance Technology, Inc. is seeking a technical leader to oversee production and programming for our machine shop located in Whitmore Lake, MI. This is a high-level technical role focused on the programming, setup, and efficiency of our ST-28 Series Turning Center. You will act as the technical authority on the floor, bridging the gap between engineering designs and shop floor execution.ResponsibilitiesDirect daily production and workflow for the shopProgram and optimize complex parts using Fusion 360 or Mastercam.Manage all setups and troubleshooting for ST-28 Series equipment.Review engineering drawings for manufacturability (DFM).Drive process improvements to reduce scrap and optimize cycle times.Provide technical mentorship to machinists on GD&T and best practices.QualificationsEducation: 4-year degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.Experience: 5+ years in precision machining with a focus on CNC Lathes.Software: High proficiency in Fusion 360 or Mastercam.Technical Mastery: Advanced understanding of G-code, tooling, and turning fundamentals.Benefits401(k) & Health Savings AccountHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Time OffSalary is competitive and based on technical expertise.
